I have possessed it for 30 years and a relative had it prior to me for I believe at least 20 years. It is effectively made and will likely last a minimum of another 50 years with typical use. It is a really flexible table for numerous sized households and celebrations. Table size choices consist of:.34" x 54" with both sides down (for 2 individuals).44" x 54" with one side up (for 3-4 individuals) - With this setup, the down side would fit well against a wall.54 x 54" with both sides up (round).63" x 54" with both sides up and 1 leaf in (oval shaped table).72" x 54" with both sides up and 2 leaves in (big oval formed table). Seating:.2 captains chairs.2 benches, each 45.5" x 14". It is appropriate for 6 adults conveniently, or 2 adults +6 kids.
