Vintage Wood Rocking Rocker Cradle Crib Bed (Possibly Red Wood). History: Pennsylvania Dutch Hex 1850-1860's, birds are called Distelfinks They represent joy and excellent fortune and the Pennsylvania German nation, and they are a common theme in hex indications and in fraktur. The word 'distelfink' (actually 'thistle-finch') is the German name for the European goldfinch. Measurements: 3 ft length, 21/2 ft height, 1ft 8" width, and 11" Deep. Condition: Overall appearances beautiful, requires some TLC a little bit of a fixer but it's an incredible piece to have (If you want to know more, you have to come down and see it face to face!
