I bought this lamp at an antique program in Cameron, NC in 2013. When I moved into my brand-new residence, it sat in an air-controlled storage system until last month. I got it inside and realized it does not go with my decor. I got the light for $175 and was informed it worked. It actually doesn't, which is why I'm offering it for $125. I've done some research online, and this slag glass light shade without a base costs $100-200 alone. The wiring is all there and the cord looks great, however when you add light bulbs and plug it in nothing takes place. It likewise leans forward a bit, which you can see in the photo. This light would be perfect if rewired and tightened up to the base. It's really beautiful and I nearly don't wish to offer it, but I honestly have no use for it. The glass lamp shade is immaculate and so is the wooden stand - no discolorations, nicks, scratches, etc.
