Vintage Violin Marked S. Lawinski 1887 With Case And Bow. So, this seems to be a violin that was produced by S. Lawinski of Chicago Illinois back in the 1800's. Then, it looks to of been serviced in 1981 by the Scholl Violin Shop in Boone, Iowa. I don't know a lot about these so I can't really say if it is in good condition for it's age or not. It measures about 23 1/2" long and about 8" at it's widest point. I did not find any markings on the bow.
