Hey. If this post is up, the item is available. I am selling this Hewlett-Packard TouchSmart IQ846t combination Vista OS computer/television/CD/DVD with wireless keyboard & mouse. The set price is firm, and I paid out more than this for all of the accessories and all I am including here. It is not out of date technology, although the t.v. and display screen is bigger than you can get today from HP on any TouchSmart. I also have with this, a speaker set, made for use with this product, comes with wired remote control for volume and bass volume. This TouchSmart has a 22" touch interaction screen. HP does not manufacture TouchSmart with screens this large anymore. All memory, and motherboard, etc. are housed inside the display screen casing. It stands propped upright at a slight, adjustable angle, ready for touch interaction. I ordered this computer new on August 5, 2009. no major problems at all have occurred with the unit, and HP has been golden about technical support, and are always complimentary of the choice of product, when they find out what this is. They have provided me basic information regarding usage tips, and anything I have needed to know to properly operate this computer they have generously given me via phone. The stereo speakers provide a very impressive experience for listening.You can check out the TouchSmart at HP's web site. Even though this unit is no longer available in this exact size (all screens are now smaller), or specification, it is still supported by Hewlett-Packard, and technical information is easily accessible by visiting their website, or calling their technical support team via phone. I would suggest visiting the web site, and entering the specific product model number, as I have given it here, to find out more about the capabilities of this product, with normal specifications, to give you some kind of idea about what you may expect from it.I am absolutely 100% pleased with the computer, and if I could, I would keep it close to me all of my life. Reality is, however, that I do not have enough time to devote to learning the capabilities of this computer thoroughly, for my own satisfaction. I feel someone else may be able to enjoy this wonderful product more completely than I. For using the computer, you may either use your fingers to do what the mouse would normally do, with some special tricks, just for the touch screen mode, or you may use the stylus, to write by hand things like signatures, or just use the mouse. You may use any type of interaction, at any time. No special settings or tools are required to take advantage of the touch screen mode...just touch it.Oh, yeah, one problem I have found is something that is completely controllable, but nevertheless I discovered it. While typing on the computer at night, the screen emits a light on it's own. This is good for me to see by. It also attracts small flying bugs, that make their way into the room, just because the light is on. (I live out in the country) When the bug lands on the screen, or bounces onto the screen, as sometimes happens, the mouse cursor is moved to the location where the bug has touched the screen, just as if you had touched the screen there with your hand. Bugs do not always know where I want to be typing, so I have had to eliminate flying bugs from the room, just to keep them from fighting me for use of the computer. If you leave the computer in locked mode overnight, a bug can fly into the screen, and awaken the computer, causing the screen to light up fully, and thus light up the whole room, which draws more bugs near the screen at 3AM, possibly, regardless if anyone is using the computer at all.
