This magazine showcases rare, antique and decorative books along with select additions of ephemera and art work. The art work is led by two original paintings credited to Jean-Michel Basquiat and Lyubov Popova. Highlighted is our third session from an impressive collection of Civil War and American West works, in addition to a large collection of author-signed modern fiction.Antique and unusual books in this magazine function various titles. Amongst the earliest examples are the Thomas Guarin imprints of "Biblia Sacra Veteris et Novi Testamenti Secundum Editionem Vulgatam," published over 1590 and 1591 in vellum with woodcuts and fold-out maps by Tobias Stimmer, the 1591 first edition of Campana's "Arbori delle Famiglie Regali di Spagna," and the 1614 printing of Gazet's "L'Histoire Ecclesiastique du Pays-Bas." Other scarce titles include unique editions and antique sets such as a copy of "Expedicion y Desembarco del 'Granma'," signed by Fidel Castro, a 1903 first state of Jack London's "The Call of the Wild," with a very uncommon original prospectus laid-in, and the 1895 first edition of Paul Lawrence Dunbar's "Majors and Minors Poems." Additional antique and collectible titles relate to the history of Pennsylvania, Quakers, travel & polar exploration, architecture, music, art history, fabrics & outfit, faith and other scholarly researches.Numerous pleasing collections will certainly also be showcased. A great private library of author-signed modern fiction consists of titles by Dan Brown, William Goldman, Sue Grafton, Joyce Carol Oates, Arthur C. Clarke, John Dunning, Ed McBain, James Lee Burke, Robin Cook, Clive Cussler, and many others. Added private collections include magic & mysticism, deluxe leather-bound editions, Civil War history, history of the American West and Native American Indians, antique youngsters's titles, and different other subjects.Found throughout this magazine are offerings of artwork, ephemera and other antiques. Essential initial art works include paintings attributed to Jean-Michel Basquiat and Lyubov Popova, along with antique lithographs and select prints and engravings. Ephemera lots go back to the 1600's and consist of a wide range of items and styles such as an initial document signed by U. S.
