If you have a doll that needs restringing, I may be able to help you. I enjoy doing this as a hobby. The one in the picture is a good example of what happens to many dolls after being stored or displayed for a period of time. This is especially true of dolls that are strung with bands. Most dolls, need to be restrung after 15 years or even less. It is not unusual to think that a doll in a box that has never been removed from the box is OK. However, you may be surprised to find that if you pick them up, often times their arms/legs are detached due to the deterioration of the bands/or cord they were strung with. Price will depend on size and difficulty but will not be expensiveas some dolls may only cost $3.50 to restring. My experience is with Madame Alexander, Effanbee, Tonner and a few other type dolls such as Ginny. Note: Dolls will need to be undressed by owner prior to restringing. Note: The one in the picture is a 12" doll that was made in 1981. You can always e-mail or call me with any questions.
