This unique, sophisticated design was custom designed and made by an extremely appreciated jewelry expert in Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska. The flash in first picture merely illuminated heaven sapphire color so you can see their internal clarity. Appraisal value in 1997 was $3026. Asking $950. Ring was examined, and appraisal description verified, at a leading jewelry expert in Iowa City just today, 3/11/13. The ring is presently size 51/2, however of course can be resized by a professional jeweler to whatever size you require. The following is the text from the appraisal description in one of the connected pictures:. Ladies heavy 14k yellow gold hand waxed bypass design diamond and sapphire ring, finger size 51/2. The significant diamond is.35 ct in weight, I1 in internal quality, FG in color grade, round fantastic design cut, and set in a six prong white gold crown. There are 4 accent diamonds and 2 sapphires, 3 alternate set on either side of the major diamond. The diamonds typical VS1 in internal clearness, G in color grade, marquise style cut, 4x2mm with a complete weight of.38 ct. The sapphires are dark blue in color, clean internally, marquise shape in cut, 4x2mm, with a complete weight of.25 ct. Channel set on either shoulder are 3 blue sapphires 2x2mm with a complete weight of.41 ct. Complete gem weight 1.39 ct. Total retail replacement value excl. tax: $3026.30. Gold at $400.
