ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE OAK THRESHING BOARD.1800s.PROFESSIONALLY REFINISHED.MINT CONDITION.25" X 57".70 LBS. It is a thick board, made with a range of slats, with a shape in between rectangle-shaped and trapezoidal, with the frontal part somewhat narrower and curved up and whose bottom is coveringed with lithic flake or razor-like metal blades. The threshing board is a historical type of threshing that can still be seen in some areas that exercise a limited agriculture. It is likewise somewhat protected as an occasional folkloric and ceremonial practice, to honor standard regional customs.The threshing board has actually been traditionally drawn by mules or by oxen over the grains spread out on the threshing floor.
