ROBERT SONNEMAN KOCH+LOWY VINTAGE POST-MODERN TORCHIERE FLOOR LAMP. STUNNING. FULLY FUNCTIONAL, WORKING LAMP. Absolutely beautiful, sophisticated, working ROBERT SONNEMAN torchiere floor light design for KOCH+LOWY. Robert Sonneman. Koch+Lowy. Torchiere Floor Lamp. Exceptionally hard-to-find Robert Sonneman design. Great uplighting that fills a space. Striking. Really tall. 6'- 21/4". Solid, heavy. Nice, stable base. Whole torchiere weighs approximately 15 pounds. Vintage, post modern-day design. Around 25-plus years of ages. Circa 1980s. Highly antique. Black finished metal. This stylish post-modern torchiere floor light by Robert Sonneman for Koch+Lowy dates from the 1980s. The torchiere includes 4 metal reed-like tubular aspects that spread outward to support a rounded dish consisting of the light component and halogen bulb. The 74-inch floor light is supported by a 10 inch x 10 inch heavy cast metal base of a low-profile pyramid shape. The fixture is geared up with a foot-controlled dimmer switch. Light brightness can be adjusted from dim state of mind lighting to bright, room-filling lighting. Component and dimmer can accommodate a 500-watt optimum halogen bulb. I have actually discovered that a 300 watt halogen bulb offers more than sufficient lighting. Original owner. Utilized. Excellent, if not excellent, physical condition.
