The camera itself does actually work and take photos, but it is suffering from some significant flaws. The shutter button does work, turning on autofocus, but it's inconsistent. Trying to take a picture, if you press it normally in the center, it doesn't work consistently. The bottom right hand corner of the button it seems to work better. Self timer next to the button does not work. Inside the viewfinder the screen is not working, it looks blank. The top LCD has a fair amount of bleed and the numbers are a bit faded, but it does work. The other issue is I am not sure if its the fault of the camera or the lens, but I don't think its stopping down the aperture properly. There also seems to be something on the shutter blades, I am not sure if this affects the timing of the shutter. The speeds sound correct. The battery chamber does look like it had some corrosion on it at some point (pictured), however putting in fresh batteries to test the camera it powers up just fine. Frame counter works, all the buttons and switches work in changing settings, such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, mode, manual or autofocus.Sold AS IS.
