Up for sale is a terrific looking old brass lantern utilized in the late 1800's and early 1900's on equine drawn buggies, carriages and some very early autos. Some of these early lanterns were produced Ford Model "T" and other early 1900's automobiles. This lantern was made by the E Co. and has the unique blue colored lens that according to some historic info., would let the on coming traffic understand if the buggy up ahead was approaching from the best or left side of the road, or something like that.
