Used D810 purchased from Robert's Camera in Indianapolis, IN in mid-late 2021. This has been my main camera until recently. Any defects noted are listed purely in the interest of full disclosure and to instill confidence in the item and myself as a Seller. I tend to be over-descriptive particular when money is involved but here you have it. I trust, and have been using, this camera in a professional environment with no issues for over two years. It's been a joy to own and use and has been a great source of accomplishment for me. I hope it does for you too. I've moved onto a newer body so this one needs a new home.What's included:All used items unless noted otherwise. - Nikon D810 camera body with a shutter count of ~135,100. Age unknown.- Nikon EN-EL15 which seems to have a good charge capacity. No guarantees on capacity or lifespan. Date marked late 2020.- ProMaster travel multi-charger with folding 2 prong wall plug. Age unknown.- Nikon D810 camera strap which has hardly been used. It was new in the bag when I purchased it and is not original to the camera. I installed it this summer as a novelty but removed it for studio shooting thereafter.- New and used third-party plastic rear screen covers if you choose to remove the glass protector and switch back to plastic.- Nikon USB and HDMI cable retention clips specific to D810 - to prevent camera damage in the event of cables being tripped or yanked on.Condition: Mostly good, but read below.The Good:- Grips: They look and feel great. I believe the grips/rubber pieces were replaced before my purchase, as the shutter count is so high yet there is very little patina.- Chassis: There are some shiny areas in high wear areas but is otherwise in very good condition. Very little to no "brassing" on the painted magnesium parts. Some scratching or misc wear on the bottom, again, as expected.- Buttons: Great with good decal/text quality. The multi-selector directional pad has always been a little bit soft but does function fine; no missed clicks in my experience. Perhaps that's just how these cameras are; I've never used another copy of this exact model so I have nothing to compare it to. After the first day, I quickly forgot about it.- Viewfinder. Great. There are a few dust particles which appear to be on top of the focusing screen. I don't have the right environment to attempt a cleaning of that area, so it will arrive as-is. I never noticed the dust until now.- Top Display and Protector: Has a plastic protector installed which has minor scratching. There is some dust underneath. The factory cover below I recall being in very good condition but I can't guarantee that.- Rear Display and Protector: Beautiful condition! I did install a glass screen protector to replace the plastic clip-on ones that Nikon designed these with; the glass is less intrusive to the image quality of the screen (less reflection/haze). There are a few specks of dust underneath from installation which personally don't bother me. It's a great cheap add-on and I do it to all of my cameras. I'll throw in a new one if I can find it, as a bonus.- Mechanicals: The lens mount, shutter set, mirror, AF system, etc, all work beautifully. All flaps and doors close snuggly and work as expected. This is a solid camera.The Bad:- SD Card Slot: Good, *except* I will sometimes get a card error message which only occurs just after inserting an SD card (even one that was *just* removed from the camera). It's happened 3-5 times in two years and I've used this camera frequently. Even newer, less used cards would sometimes still have the same issue. Reinserting the card a few times with a bit of delay between and/or power-cycling the camera (battery out) always got it working again. Being so intermittent, it seemed like a dirty contact so I blew out the card slots a few weeks ago (shocker, they were a bit dirty!) and it hasn't happened since. Beyond that, it works perfectly and I've never experienced any lost/corrupt photos or other card errors. Once the card is recognized properly after the initial insertion, it never faults from then on.- CF Card Slot: Good. No issues during my use. A pin at the bottom of the photo looks somewhat bent, which I had never seen until now. I've never had any issues with it nor have I ever made any repairs/adjustments to it. The card that I use has always worked 100% without issues.- Main Sensor: The sensor has a very light scratch along the bottom. It's difficult to see/photograph and I haven't found an instance of it showing up in any imagery (even at 2-3x zoom). I wasn't aware of this when I purchased the body and discovered it many months later during a routine blow out of the sensor chamber. I personally call it a non-issue.Shipping:Free insured shipping to the Buyer via USPS.
