Hello there, up for sale is a victorian 12kt floating pearl ring. The pearl is not cultured and is around 10mm around. The ring had actually been in my household for a long period of time. After WWII my granny and grandpa were stationed in Japan to assist with the "Americanizing". They were assigned there for a number of years and enjoyed every minute of it. As would be expected they purchased several Asian items. This ring was among them. It was bought from an antiquarians in Tokyo. There are 3 Asian hallmarks of the within the band. I have attempted to take as clear an image as possible. If there is someone out there that can figure out exactly what the characters state and wish to write and let me understand it would be appreciated, maybe. The gold is 12kt. Something that was extremely usual during that duration. The design is in fact more English than Asian and figures stunning scrolling work. I pointed out that the pearl was normally forming as that is what I have actually always been told.The ring is a size 8 and can be resized.
