. Style is known as spangled or vasa murrhina. Big as vases go, specifically ones this old( most pieces this large just don't stand the test of time). They stand 11 "tall (one is 111/4"), hand blown, cased melon, gourd or glass formed, pinched ruffled openings. Glass colors vary from white and clear(interior)to caramel / cream, tan, chocolate brown with a few touches of red and green with gold mica flakes mixed in for neat result. Not completely identical and symmetrical because they are handcrafted however will certainly look wonderful together in any displaycase or curio. Previous owner who gifted these pieces to us stated they were made by Hobbs( Brockunier )and had actually belonged to her grandparents. Her household was originally from the Steubenville / Wheeling pan-handle location at the turn of the last century.
