1921 The Gibson L-4 Sunburst. A genuine blast from the past! This 1921 The Gibson L-4 is hand carved. Non initial tuners, everything else seems initial. Evaluating by the inlay on the headstock and on the neck I am lead to think this is a custom-made guitar. I have yet to see another comparable trapeze on a vintage L-4. The neck is straight and the worries are in remarkably good shape. This is a fantastic guitar for a collector or player. The backside binding on the guitar has actually been taken totally off and expert dealt with (most likely due to some wear and tear). This has been repaired prior to I got the guitar, but I can assure you the repair was done by an expert and had to be done to make sure the guitar will certainly bet several years to come. I published one photo of the backside binding to show the repair. I have the initial pick guard and all the assembly pieces for the pick guard (see images). I tried to take a photo of the identification number inside the body, it is written in pencil and very tough to see, but personally you can read it, the number is 70357. This guitar has stood the test of time and will remain to. I have actually taken it into my local guitar shop and was informed that the neck is as straight as can be for being 93 years of ages and not having a truss rod.
