This is a beautiful Oriental 6 panel divider. It has a different color and activity painted on each side. This was purchased from overseas in the 1970's by my family and imported, but this was not a version that was planned to be imported to the USA. This screen is incredible to take a look at and is far superior to most Oriental design screens offered today. One side is black with Trees, Birds, and Lily's. One side is gold with a large Tree, Birds, Water, and an Island. This is a gorgeous piece, and is in excellent shape for it's age. There are a couple of small fractures in the wood and marks on the paint, but they do not detract from its appeal at all.
