Beautiful and useful, this vintage Roos Sweetheart Cedarette Chest is an unusual find. The Roos company was just in company from 1916 - 1951, operating out of Forest Park, IL. The company produced theses chests in all the popular styles during the mid 1920s until WWII. This has actually belonged of our family because 1951! It is 39"broad x 32"tall x 18" deep. Perfect for keeping winter wear or extra comforters and sheets. Lovely wood scroll and trim details, all initial finish, all original hardware, opens to a full cedar interior with a take out, moving divided cedar drawer. Other details: Smoke-free house. Little piece of wood missing out on at foot of front left footing (seen in images). In exceptional condition. Remarkable find! $200 (OBO).
