This unusual vintage Burnside 2A pot belly stove was cast by the Bellaire Stove Company in Bellaire Ohio. It burns wood or coal. The Bellaire Stove Company is listed in the McKelvey's Centennial (1801 from 1901) as amongst the important production concerns of Bellaire, Ohio. It has a repairable fracture in the fire bowl that can be seen in the last photo. This is not unusual. It works wonderful and produces good old-time heat. Perfect for hunting cabins, cottages, little stores, and so on. On front of base plate are the embossed words: The Bellaire Stove Co. Bellaire Ohio. This stove has the initial lower drawer, door and shaker grate. Stove body is approximately 50"H x 20"W.
