A stunning piece with practically no details of it's history anywhere online. Carver's Guild is still around and makes really elegant high end pieces. Mainly metal and brass I believe but this is just beautiful. It's totally wood however the surface has a jade like swirl look. Really difficult to explain but completely unique for it's time. I 'd envision this is from the 60's to mid 70's however in fantastic condition for its age. Still has original label on the back. Only a couple of small locations where the paint has nicked off. Not extremely noticeable.Measures 43.5 inches in diameter and is rather substantial. This is a really unique piece and I'm not trying to find anything below my asking price.
