June, 2013: This bike has brand new tires, complete wheel hub (bearings) overhaul, and crank bearings overhaul. This bike is rolling like new and I took it out this week for a shakedown cruise. Everything worked as smooth as I remember when it was new. The bike is Chestnut Brown. It shows some scrapes and scratches. ALL ORIGINAL!!!!!!!!!! To sell it for parts alone, I can get at least twice my asking price but I am to sentimental to personally oversee parting it out. I received this bike for Christmas in 1976. In analyzing the serial number on the frame, it was built in July 1976. The badge number indicates the bike was assembled on September 15th, 1976.Made in Chicago, IL USA Asking price on E-bay for similar bikes are over $400.
