Antique scrimshaw, bought by my father-in-law long ago on a holiday to Alaska. This lovely piece was scrimshawed by Wales, Alaska native Ed Ongtowasruk. Wales, AK is a tiny, historic community on the Bering Sea. This scrimshaw is in gorgeous condition, and comes from a pet complimentary, smoke free home.
