Reseal appraisal of $300, make an offer. The trunk is an expert "sample' or "theatrical" trunk and from the name on the leading it was undoubtedly used by a traveling theatrical group. It was for delivering their devices and outfits, and so on, so it's very sturdy. The lock company, Newton, didn't make the trunk however Faber might have called this trunk the Newton trunk because they used the Newton locks. The trunks age, quality and theatrical background make it an ideal piece for any serious trunk or antique collector. Open to all serious offers.
