This is for an unusual antique fine bone china white high gloss hand colored floral square plate by Paragon England. Backstamp I believe shows plate was produced (1923-1933) pre Warrant of Appt to Her Majesty Queen Mary in 1933. The rim of the plate is embossed in a rich vivid gold. The lovely floral arrangement is hand colored in yellow, red, blue, green and fuchsia. The plate measures around 71/2" square and is in great condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There are small scratches which are hard to see to front of plate due to age. Back of plate is marked Paragon Fine Bone China Made In England Salon Registered. There is also a hand-painted number which appears to be F2181 with a C beneath. Marked into the back of plate appears to be the capital E.
