Before you say and go, "Why would I desire a rusty bike." Let me inform you the story. I had a Schwinn World sport that was an ugly red and white and I wished to make it something special. I thought of spray painting it, however that just had not been great enough. Then I had an idea. If I offered it a rusty patina, what. I stripped off all the paint, repainted the lugs green and sat it in the rain. After one rainy night, it was magnificently rusted. I then put 11 coats of clear Rustoleum on it to stop additional rust. It ended up lovely. I included some cork grips to some north roadway handlebars and some homemade tape to occupy the stem. After which, I delved deep into my parts bin and added some rubbing shifters, Suntour rear derailleur, Shimano front derailleur, front and rear racks and chose it was good. The frame size is 50cm. I am 5'4" and it fits me great. If this cool bike is for you, kindly let me understand. I forgot to add, the tires in the photo where changed, the bags include the bike and I shellacked the grips and tape.
