I quickly removed the heavier, lower spoke count stock DT Swiss / Syncros wheels and replaced them with my stiffer and lighter $1,000 2013 Easton EA90 SL aluminum clincher wheelset with even more spokes, my climbing-friendly 12-30 Ultegra cassette, my comfy and really light $200 Specialized Romin Pro encumber carbon rails - all from my previous bike, plus an extra wrap of brand-new white Cinneli gel cork bar tape over the manufacturing facility tape for extra convenience, and a new $85 titanium nitride-coated gold X10SL chain for the slickest shifting. The Foil itself has simply under 100 test miles by myself alone on 4 rides. After each ride, it was hand-washed with a spray of just Dawn and water (as directed by Scott manufacturing plant representative), hand-dried, and covered with a soft quilt. I will certainly decrease the rate by $300 if you would rather have the initial brand-new wheelset, cassette, and chain (I'll move the tires with 100 miles on them back over too). If you just desire no wheels or tires so that you can use your own, I will decrease the rate by $450.
