This is a radio manufactured in the 1950s. I was one of the generation that listened to Arthur Godrey?s programs and to ?Gunsmoke? and ?The Shadow? when they were on the radio. Later, I tuned to WLAC to pick up on the music show from ?Ernie?s Record Shop.? And it was on another tubed radio that I first heard Elvis, Little Richard, Duane Eddy, Fats Domino, Marty Robbins, Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams, and Faron Young, among others. Wish I had been able to listen on a radio this snazzy!This is a nice radio that plays well and has a rather unusual dial.
