HOLTON TR160 TROMBONE with genuine Thayer Valve and a super open F wrap. Lacquer has been removed from the gold-brass bell and tuning slides so this trombone speaks very quickly and responsively. Warm, full, and dark sounding. Perfect slide and valve actions. Recently overhauled with new corks and fine-tuning throughout. Ding in the bell was professionally repaired... see photos. (since there is no lacquer it is really hard to see)A solid horn for a serious musician.Comes in a custom-made Altieri gig bag. Ultra lightweight, but fortified in all the right places to protect the instrument. It has a heavy scuff-resistent nylon outer shell and soft flannel-like interior. Included backpack straps and a GIANT accessory pouch that will easily fit a trombone stand, music stand, and a mute or two all at once. No hard case is included. This gig bag is simply better.
