I don't know anything about musical instruments.A friend who knows how to play wind instruments tested it and it plays. I don't know if it is "in tune."I have a photograph of the person who owned this, taken in 1915. It is of the entire Caspar Lumber Company Band, of Caspar, CA in Mendocino County. I would post it with this listing, however, I am not near the photo right now. If you are the winning bidder and want a copy of the photo, I would be glad to send it to you later.I cannot find any information about a "Windsor" or similar name in Chicago. The lettering is very clear for "Chicago," but "Windsor" is my best guess for the brand - due to the style of the script.I will try to answer any questions you may have.
