Conn 201BR Rose Brass Bell Trumpet - Reconditioned - Case and Bach 7C Mouthpiece Bore: .458 - Serial 58***Beautiful playing horn built by Carol Brass for Conn with 90% lacquer, horn shows good with general signs of use, 2nd slide and bell tail required dent removal. Bell flair, taper are very nice, the thumb slide has been soldered. All slides are smooth and valve are fast and compression is excellent. Case is solid and in good condition showing rear hinges are a little loose, horn comes with a Bach 7C mouthpiece.UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. (This is a $150 service for complete reconditioning at the shop)Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbedBody, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT)Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour)Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assemblyValves aligned, pads and springs replaced as neededPlay tested and final inspected before listing for sale***Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years.
