Look at the last picture. This appears like the only physical damage I can see to any of the metal on this trumpet other than normal wear and tear. Approximately 4 and 1/2 in down from the mouthpiece whole on the silver tube leading to the mouthpiece is a small dent or ding. Very hard to see but I can feel it. I'm not an expert on instruments. I bought this because I see that all the slides were free valves are free and it's in what I considered great condition. I don't know the exact year. I'll provide as much information as I can for you as the expert to do as much research as you need on this instrument. I would recommend a professional should go through and clean it properly, probably new pads and related replaceable parts and make any adjustments that it may need. I think it would polish up pretty nice as well. The case is in good condition as well. This item has a lot of sterling silver on it. * STERLING SILVER BELL (gold washed inside bell) * KING* super- 20 * symphony* SILVERSONIC * made by the H.N.White company Cleveland Ohio. **All engraved on the bell. **Serial number 346237 D B **On the valves 462 37 It looks like all the pads on the valves are original, maybe even the springs. Valves function properly( I don't have any valve oil ,the bottle is empty) Has two mouth pieces. The case is full of stuff, all comes with this instrument. Everything you see in my pictures is part of this item. Item makes noice, albe it I have no idea how to play a trumpet but I did Google to figure out , and it does make sound.
