This is an amazing piece of history. It is European, we think French. The antique shop that offered it to me approximated it was from mid to late 1800s. It is very tall and it makes exceptional storage. You need to have and 8 foot tall ceiling in your place for this to fit. It is truly a charming piece that all of your visitors will certainly admire. I paid $1800 for it however because I relocated to an apartment to the city it can not have me. Please offer it a nice home. The mirrored door to the front is opened with a skeleton secret. When it is opened there is adjustable shelving inside. The wood is still in excellent condition. The carvings are splendid and include a rich appearance to the piece. I am eager to take $600 for it, which is my absolutely rock bottom price. Seriously I paid $600 dollars for my Ikea cabinet and is it compressed wood so I am pretty sure this is a fantastic bargain.
