Classic Miele Columbus SL full road bike - impressive primarily original top of the line racer from 1985. The frame is in excellent shape, with a couple of paint dings and a little decal fading/peeling, as it's not under any sort of clear coat, however total exceptional condition for a 1985. Miele was an ex pat Italian who hired other ex pats to make their beautiful frames, and this one was constructed of Columbus SL and is repainted an eye capturing pearlescent salmon. Bike is equipped with a Shimano 600ex gruppo from 1985 and is indexed for 2x6 moving. Araya rims, and Cinelli bar and stem round out the specs, in addition to a broken in Wright (almost identical to Brooks) saddle. New Challenge 320 tpi tires round out the develop and make that smooth trip all the even more supple. This bike is light at 22 lbs with pedals, and includes modern-day clipless pedals. It's a fast and smooth ride and would make any vintage lover extremely pleased, or would be an excellent sport/recreational bike with old school flair. If the ad is still up, the bike is available.
