Beautifull 4/4 Maggini style violin. It is unbranded; I do not see any label or a maker's mark identifying the violin. It is clearly a Maggini with the typical double purfling and the extra turn on the scroll. The violin is most likely an early 1900s high end German copy. The workmanship is excellent throughout. The back is stunning two peace highly flamed maple. The violin has been fully restored professionally. There is a repaired hairline crack on the right side of the top deck. It is completely solid and does not affect in any away the playing and sound. The sound is rich and with excellent projection. The violin is in great ready to play condition. Dimensions are: overall 23 and 1/4", body 14" and width 8 and 1/8". The listing is only for the violin; no case or bow. Returns accepted; buyer pays return shipping. Merry Christmas!
