Up for sale today is a beautiful, pre-owned Yamaha Cornet, Model YCR-2310, Serial Number 004264A. This particular horn is in good working condition and, other than a very small ding on the bell and some lacquer peeling from the surface of the top of the horn (see pics), this item looks very nice and well maintained for its age. Although we are not brass instrument specialists, we have checked & tested it out; nothing seems to be missing or out of place and when played it sounds like it should. The valves move easily and overall this horn is solid. The water key works easily and seals well. The mouthpiece receiver and leadpipe could easily pass for brand new! This horn and case also includes a "YAMAHA JAPAN 9" cornet mouthpiece, which by itself sells for $30 to $60.This cornet model was originally manufactured between 1987 and 1994 and does not have any maintenance records. For learning, practicing, having some fun, or even popping out for a local bar gig, this quality Yamaha cornet will definitely do the trick! Order and pay today and we will ship it out immediately.
