This KHS COMP mountain bike is a true gem from the 1990s. Made in the USA with True Temper OX3 steel, it's a high-quality bike that's built to last. The 26" wheels and 15.5" frame size make it a perfect fit for most riders, while the 24-speed derailleur gears and front suspension is original and will need to be tuned. up. Black chromoly frame has after market riser handlebars, tubular tires, and original (?) cantilever brakes. The grip shifter's are also aftermarket. This is a classic "Steel is Real" double-butted chromoly size SMALL frame. Original components are Shimano XT, Rock Shox Indy Long travel front fork, wheels, brakes. "Newer" grip shifters installed. This bike will need to be tuned up to ride safely and is being sold as IS. You'll likely buy it for the classic chromoly frame and original XT components for those that enjoy refurbishing vintage/older style bikes - or are looking for a great city kick-around bike. (If I can find the seat & pedals will include - but not guaranteed)
