Listed today is an early 1900s conn valve trombone. This particular model is a hard one to find and I could only track one recent listing of it being sold along with finding a small record of it in the Conn archives. Although I imagine this more as a collectors item, it still plays as it was intended with no issues in performance. You could use this on an everyday gig or keep it displayed as a showpiece.
