For Irving Berlin fans, a couple of his earlier tunes on 88 note player piano rolls. Plus a bonus roll with another of his tunes to fill up some space in the box. 1. Connorized 88 note roll #2368 Snookey Ookums A pre-WW1 Irving Berlin Tune. No words printed on the roll: you can easily find the silly lyrics on-line. Couple of creases on leader, otherwise the roll is in VG condition. Typically of early rolls, the “playing” is a bit stiff, in my opinion. Box VG. 2. 88 Note Themodist Metrostyle 301426 Along Came Ruth . As you can see from the image, there has been a repair on the tab. Imn addition, the leader is yellowed and there are a few of the typical Aeolian metal-flange “rust spots” on the edge. Once you get to the notes section, roll is VG. Box is good with a little corner scuffing and dingy label. Again, no lyrics on roll. Here’s the bonus roll, which has one problem… 3. QRS Word Roll Q-112 Blue Skies This is a modern re-issue of an arrangement from another company (SY-06380, whoever that was). Lively 1920s style. NOTE ON CONDITION: Very Good except: The perforations are out of alignment. A factory error. If your player piano has a transposing tracker bar, as many do, you can adjust the bar and the roll will play fine. I check messages at ends of day if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.
