NOTE: guitar cannot ship until Sep 5.1981 Asturias A-8 classical guitar, good condition.656 mm scale. 51mm nut. 5 fan braces. Torres style headstock.Solid spruce soundboard (with some bearclaw figure and nice cross silking), Indian rosewood back and sides, rosewood fretboard, bridge, and headstock overlay. Mahogany neck with inlaid ebony (or ebonized rosewood) reinforcement. Bone saddle.Action: 3.75mm low E to 3 mm high E, with about 2.5 mm of saddle remaining above the bridge.This guitar is in good structural condition, but has one repaired (glued and cleated) soundboard crack, and one discolored (and partially filled) dent, both in the lower bout. The soundboard finish was stripped, and a thin French polish was applied. There are some slightly rough areas around the bridge due to the strip and refinish. Two 3/4" ports in the upper bout in a style similar to that used by Robert Ruck.The back and sides have a number of shallow scratches and scrapes from play wear, and the finish shows significant clouding where moisture was trapped under the finish (which is VERY common on Japanese classicals from this era).
