This is a wonderful bike and I have had it garaged most of its life, so has the previous owner. Initially it was from California, and I simply moved right here from eastern WA so there is no concern with rust. It was all original until I purchased a brand-new derailleur and changed the breaks, for a much better set of Shwinn breaking levers. I likewise acquired a brand-new chain around the very same time (1.5 years ago). The only thing that hasn't held up is the bar tape ... it will certainly need to be changed, unless you do not mind the electrical tape I have holding the old ones together. It is a dark redish color. I am 5' 7" and it fits me perfectly. , if you are any where near that height you must be great. . It has fancy alloy rims that are 700's and great roadway tires that still have lots of life in them. The shifters are remarkable! I enjoy utilizing this bike since you never ever need to adjust the gears or tune it up, its all in where you put the gear shift lever. I am somewhat attached to the seat, but I might part with it ... I am still not sure. I originally paid $75 for the seat and it is still actually good. It is a customized brand. The rack is strong and I have utilized it to commute sometimes. It also comes with fenders. If you have any concerns, let me understand.
