Vintage 1949 F.E. Olds Los Angeles California Ambassador Trumpet w/ Case & MPCSerial 40321 All 3 pistons have the same stamped 40321 serial number on themYear 1949Los Angeles, CaliforniaClosed circular finger hook and Z bracesExcellent playing Condition Good Cosmetic Condition - The lacquer has darkened quite a bit over the years. Has some small areas of finish loss / wear. Leadpipe / Receiver has a very slight bend to it - please see images Fully disassembled and Chemical Cleaned on 12.26.23 (chemical cleaning removes the calcium, grease and other deposits that build up over time inside the horn. Recommended once a year or so)New Valve Cap / Stem Felts & Corks and Water Key Cork installedOiled and Lubricated - All Pistons, Slides and Valve Caps move smoothly and freely. No stuck, frozen parts or dislodged solder jointsIncludes a tweed case - Good Protective Condition, latches do not have the keys, has a lingering old case odor, recommend to continue airing out. The Trumpet and case appears to have not been used in decadesIncludes the original Olds 3 mouthpiece"The trumpet arrived in great condition all cleaned and wrapped and he uses it without any problems.
