Yamaha YHR561 Double French Horn

Description:

This horn has been disassembled and cleaned. Inspected for repairs and reassembled. Playtested to determine quality by experienced hornist. Leadpipe resanitized after playtest. Technical: The rotors show a excellent level of tightness within their casings and rotate smoothly. The valve slides show a very good level of tightness within their casings and slide smoothly. Compression is very good. The horn shows moderate denting throughout horn with moderate scuffs and scratches. Lacquer wear is moderate throughout horn. Bracing is secure. Previous solder work. Playtest: The horn produces a semi-bright tone. Centering on the horn is very good throughout the range showing a little more strength in the lower register. Horn requires limited hand/bell technique. F to Bb is good to very good. Horn comes with hardcase in good condition.
