Up for auction is a rare professional 1950 C. G. Conn "Connstellation" 28D Elkhart lacquered brass double french horn. All valves and slides move freely. There are visible dents present in the bell section, slide tubes/tubing and mouthpipe tube. Also, there are several loose braces and at least one body section need to be resoldered. This french horn has scratches throughout from normal use and lacquer wear with approximately 75% of lacquer intact(may not be original).There are no patches or visible holes in the bell section. The valve casing serial number is in the 392,xxx range which dates year of manufacture to approximately 1950. This french horn would benefit from a professional cleaning and dent removal upon delivery. Included is a somewhat worn Conn wood shell french horn case(latches catch, handle is instact, interior is intact, exterior is worn). No mouthpiece is included. This is being sold in "as-is" condition and the pictures provided are considered as part of the description.Winning U.S. bidder to pay $125.00 for ground shipping, handling and insurance.
