This great antique Arts & Crafts style taboret is fresh from a local estate in East Aurora, NY, the home of the Roycroft. It measures approximately 13" wide by 16" tall. There is a long metal pin with hammered/forged ends that goes all the way through two of the legs from one side to the other. Must be a very old repair, possibly one done by the original maker after the wood split. There are some other small splits in the wood repaired with old nails. As you can see, this piece is made of beautiful dark stained oak wood and the surface is in good shape. Possibly refinished at some point. Please see all photos.
