Vintage Mid Century Owls Painting Original Abstract

This is a fantastic mid century painting, framed and originally sold by Buck Saunders Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ. It’s painted on a hard board, not canvas. I believe it is oil, but could possibly be acrylic. The painting technique on the owls is very thick and textured , like it was applied by an artist’s knife or spatula. I’ve tried to show this in the photos…please zoom in for details. Signed by the artist, but I can not make out the name. The painting itself measures 15-1/2” x 22-3/4”. With the frame it measures 17-1/4” x 24-1/4”.
