52mm Hoya Super HMC UV camera filter + lots of (potential) extras, $30 -

Price:
$30
Location:
Stanford, CA
Description:

I sold a camera lens so I no longer need these filters. I will throw in a bunch of other stuff for free, and heavily discount some other stuff I am trying to get rid of. 52mm Hoya Super HMC UV Filter, $30 Recommended by Ken Rockwell (maybe you are no longer interested now, haha), this filter has dimmer reflections (see the pictures) and better transmission which translate to fewer and dimmer ghosts. It has a light green tinge, which is normal, and you can read more at http://www.kenrockwell.com/hoya/filters.htm ). There are some cleaning streaks in it and maybe I can make out a very superficial 3mm scratch if I look carefully, but as far as I can tell there are no deep scratches and nothing that affects image quality. I was too afraid of scratching it to use anything other than my breath and microfiber cloth to try to clean it. Maybe you can do better. It was a while ago, but I recall paying $40-50 for it. http://www.amazon.com/Hoya-SUPER-HMC-Haze-UV/dp/B00009R98B/ref=sr_1_2 52mm Tiffen UV Protector, free with the other filter This is a #1 best seller on Amazon because it is really cheap and it really sucks. Whenever I used this filter for a dimly-lit scene with a light bulb, there would be ghosts from one side of the image to the other. For brightly-lit scenes it was fine. Basically, I used this filter to protect the other filter, and if I noticed any ghosts or it was too dim I would take it off. I paid $8 for this, but it is so cheap on Amazon that I'll give it to you for free if you buy the other filter. http://www.amazon.com/Tiffen-52mm-UV-Protection-Filter/dp/B00004ZCJG/ref=sr_1_1 Two Undfind BFB108 Fishbomb Soft Pouches, New and Unopened, free with the filters Every time I look at these things I want to open them and play with them. But I really don't have any use for them personally. I got them for free with other filter purchases, but they're actually pretty expensive on Amazon, like $12 each. http://www.amazon.com/Undfind-BFB108-Fish-Filter-Black/dp/B007FUN24Y/ref=sr_1_1 Gear Head USB 2.0 7-Port Hub, free with the filters This is a powered USB 2.0 hub which I don't need anymore. The Amazon reviews say it is underpowered, but I never had any problems with that. Sometimes an external hard drive wouldn't show up and I would have to disconnect/reconnect it but I never lost any data. To be safe, I would recommend just using it for your USB keyboard, mouse, and charging, though I used it for multiple hard drives and USB flash drives simultaneously without other issues. I can't find the USB cable in the picture so I'll provide a better, longer one. It was a while ago, but I recall paying $15 + tax for it. http://www.amazon.com/Gear-Head-Powered-Accents-UH7000WHT/dp/B0047K5J6E Technocel Universal (Car or Home Outlet) USB Charger with MicroUSB Cable, free with the filters This came for free with my cell phone. The output is listed as 5V 1A. I have never used it so I have no idea if it works or not. The Amazon listing says "3-in-1" but I have no idea what the third thing is, unless it works in reverse and you can charge your car battery from your phone. To be totally honest, I would test it on an old cell phone first before hooking it up to something really expensive. http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Technocel-3-1-Charger/dp/B00BO0AUFU Siig USB 2.0 10-Port Hub, $5 with the filters I haven't used it in a while, but I never noticed any issues or high pitched noises coming from it, as claimed by the Amazon review from the user "fap4me" (really). I liked this hub, but now I have a USB 3.0 hub. It was a while ago, but I recall paying $15 + tax for it. http://www.amazon.com/SIIG-JU-H00012-S1-USB-2-0-10-PORT/dp/B004G603T2/ref=sr_1_1 LowePro EX 140 Camera Bag, $10 with the filters This is a nice bag which has seen the world but is still in decent condition. It can fit an APS-C dSLR with a 4 inch or so lens and another (small) lens. It will fit in a backpack, but it is somewhat bulky due to all the padding, so the backpack will bulge. It is grey, not black. It was a while ago, but I recall paying $40 + tax for it. http://www.amazon.com/Lowepro-Camera-Camcorder-EX-140-GRY/dp/B0001YM404/ref=sr_1_1 This is basically $130 worth of stuff that I am selling for $45. Wow, I need to find some less expensive hobbies.
