Mission Oak Divanette Sofa bed Setteec. 1910 – 1920Quarter sawn oak. Fold out “full” or“3/4” size spring bed. 37.25" h x 57.5" w x33.25" Original label attached: "The Kindel Divanette Name Registered Highest Award for Davenport Beds Patented Aug 9, 1910 Dec 6, 1910"Listed also as “Khoeler” sofa beds c. 1915.The Khoeler furniture waspreviously, and later, the Kindel Bedding Company. 1899: Kindel Bedding Company is founded in Denver, Colorado. 1904: Company moves to St. Louis, Missouri. 1912: Company moves to Grand Rapids, Michigan and is renamedKindel Bed Company. 1915: Company is purchased by Kroehler Manufacturing Companyof Chicago. 1924: Charles Kindel buys company back; renames it KindelFurniture Company.Original was likely brown leatherupholstered. This one has been re-upholstered at leasttwice, once in some 1980s blue pattern fabric, and in 2008 (current wheatcolored velvet). Has newer mattress replacement.Does not include moving or shipping. Shipping costs are not known. A price is required to list, but the $800 is only a holding place. Shipping will depend on carrier and distance. Will need a furniture moving company unless local.
