The Watch: This is an exceptional find from the house of Cartier. A large model Tank Divan in solid, 18k white gold with a special edition dial. It is the rare to find a men’s automatic Tank Divan produced in white gold. Almost all large models were produced in yellow gold or stainless steel. But this dial can't seem be found on any of them, except for this example. The seller described it as a special order made through the Cartier flagship boutique in Paris. While I can't confirm that full history, I can say it's all original and that there are no sales or service records the Cartier can find in North America, which fits the story. With this dial, I believe it’s unique. I’ve only ever seen it on smaller, quartz Divans. If you see another example like this or have any useful information, please message me.It is on its original Cartier black alligator strap that was supplied with the watch when new, with original white gold buckle.Worn only on a few special occasions (absolutely completes your look in a tuxedo and is a show stopper), this piece has been well taken care of and inspected by Cartier regularly.Includes: Watch only.
