This beautiful 1998 Bianchi Volpe in Midnight Blue is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and mechanically, with only some minor scratches as shown in photos. The frame exhibits no rust, the paint shines. All gears shifts smoothly, The Shimano RSX shifters are freshly rebuilt and re-greased with modern grease, brand new Jagwire L3 Lubed and Lined Compressionless Cable Housing, Shimano Optislick Rear Derailleur Cable and Bontrager brake housing installed It. Upgraded Specialized Romin race saddle.Designed in the USA and Handmade in Italy. The bike features Bianchi's Superset II Chromoly Tubing (Oval bottom bracket area to increase stiffness), A complete Shimano RSX groupset. Mavic MA-2 Wheels. Shimano BB-LP26, 118mm spindle Bottom Bracket. The frame size is 52cm.Nitto aluminum drop handlebars, Alico YC chromoly stem, Shimano Alivio M-System canti brakes.26/36/46T Front Chanrings, 11-28T Rear Cassette. The bike currently has 700cx25mm tires installed, but it's got a very wide tire clearance. Paired with proper gravel tires, this bike can be a great gravel/touring bike setup with mounting points everywhere, and additional water bottle mounting holes under the downtube.Your chance to get a piece of history.
