1988 KAZUO YAIRI CY140 CLASSICAL GUITARALVAREZ | SERIAL NUMBER: 74715Additional Information: Very nice Alvarez Yairi. CY140 Classical Guitar. The label inside the guitar says it was made in 1988. There is an input jack in the side of the guitar, but does not have a pickup. There is a bit of pick wear near the rosette, see photo. This model is out of production. Includes guitar case as pictured. Please refer to the many photos of this guitar and feel free to message us with any questions.This well respected model is no longer in production.From the Chorder site: The CY140 has a classic, non-cutaway body made of cedar top and Brazilllian rosewood back and sides. It comes in natural color with gloss finish and black top binding. The gridge on this model is classically shaped and made of rosewood. The neck is made of mahogany and it has a dovetail joint on the 12th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony and features standard 19 frets, no poistion inlays and 2" wide nut. Other features include gold plated hardware, 25-1/2" scale, classical tuning pegs and wood mosaic sound hole rosette.
